We’ve now been back open for almost two weeks, and those who have been in will have seen quite a few changes.

Today we have added even more….some brilliant paintings by local artiste E.Anthony Orme.

Anthony was born in Manchester, and for the last few years has had a gallery in Stand Lane in Radcliffe, run by his son Chris.

They have acquired large spanking new premises opposite Asda at Pilsworth which is scheduled to open in October.

This will allow them to show off so much more of Anthony’s diverse range of painting styles, and we are looking forward to visiting when the time arrives.

The selection of paintings we have chosen for the Tearoom reflects the “Good old days” when kids played in the streets, and coalmen delivered to homes, and old cars and vans roamed around the tight-knit communities.

We love them, and we hope you will appreciate them as well. Please come and enjoy the dozen or so that will be a permanent feature of Leckenby’s Licensed Tearoom.

Then in the middle of September, we hope to complete the new-look (we are awaiting delivery, which should have been with us before we re-opened!) so we’ll keep you in suspense until the final finishing touch is in place!

In the meantime, don’t forget 50% off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until the end of August, as well as our free numbered ticket for every customer this month with the draw in early September for 20 prizes.

Keep well, and we’ll hopefully see you all soon
